Walnut Pesto (or Salsa di Noci) is a traditional pesto from Liguria region. Outside of Italy, it might not be as popular as Basil Pesto alla Genovese but once you try it, it will definitely become one of your favorites. Its rich nutty flavor comes from the walnuts with a subtle tang from garlic and Parmesan cheese making it perfect to dress gnocchi and pasta or simply serve as a dip or spread. This sauce is made by a small oil mill located in the picturesque village of Sant`Agata d`Oneglia.
