Genovese Pesto or “Pesto alla Genovese” is a typical regional product from the Ligurian region of Italy. Made according to Italian tradition with fresh Genovese DOP basil, pine nuts, garlic, Extra Virgin Olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano DOP Cheese. Pesto alla Genovese is a very versatile sauce ideally matched with plain or filled pasta. A flavourful result is guaranteed due to the choice of basil D.O.P. selected, cultivated, and harvested in Liguria according to strict production regulations.
