About Us
In 2006, Francesco and Caroline Boggian decided to bring a piece of Italy to the UK. Francesco’s vision? Crafting pasta so authentically Italian, even nonnas would nod in approval. The journey began humbly with fresh, hand-made pasta offered at local farmer’s markets, including the world-renowned Borough Market (where we still are today). But soon, whispers of our pasta prowess spread like tomato sauce on a white tablecloth, attracting the gaze of London’s top restaurants and hotels. Fast forward to 2018, Francesco and famiglia decided to venture back to warmer climates and passed La Tua Pasta into the capable hands of Nicolas and Patricia Hanson.
Having fallen head over heels for La Tua Pasta at Borough Market, the Hansons vowed to uphold the pasta legacy with gusto, passionately striving to bring people together around the table, creating memorable moments through the fine art of pasta dining. One thing remains the same as it did from its humble origins: quality, authenticity, and passion are maintained to this day, which are not only reflected in our popularity but also in industry recognition.
We take immense pride in our ability to create the finest fresh pasta in the UK. This is evident through our numerous esteemed accolades, including over 110 Great Taste Awards. We endeavour to use traditional methods such as hand-folding each piece of Tortelloni and using bronze dies to keep an unwavering dedication to authenticity. All our fresh fillings, sauces, and butters are lovingly made in London, using the highest quality raw ingredients. We focus on preparing food, not processing it – we never add artificial preservatives, colours, flavours or additives to anything we make.
